December 5

Madie is 6 and is in 1st Grade at Rossman Elementary School in Hartford. She was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma nearly 2 years ago.

She was treated by Medical College of Wisconsin Physicians in the MACC Fund Center at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin every week for 18 months and was officially cleared in July, 2016. She has a younger brother and enjoys Reading and Dance as well as singing, arts and crafts. She was the official “Assistant Coach” of the Dance team in 2015. Aaron Rodgers is her favorite player but her favorite team is the New Orleans Saints due to family living in that city and one of the colors of the Saints – gold – is the color for childhood cancer. She loves to run to see the nurses and staff at the MACC Fund Center Clinic at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin which her mom says “works magic with the kids” and are like a “second family.”
