Liam is 10 years old. He was diagnosed in 2010 with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) at age 3. Thankfully, the standard protocol treatment went well for him.
This treatment, which consisted of various chemotherapies over a 3 and 1/3 year period, was developed from years of research. He is now cancer free. He visits a Medical College of Wisconsin physician in the “Next Steps” clinic in the MACC Fund Center of Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin every 6 months for follow-up exams. He is currently a 5th grade student whose favorite subject after recess is math. He enjoys time with his older sister and brother. He loves playing all sports and cheers for all of the state’s teams. Shortly after he was newly diagnosed, he presented the game ball for the Bucks MACC Fund Game.
